: : A few years ago I read a book called "The Puzzle Palace" which was about the NSA. In it it mentioned a NSA facility in Brewster, Washington. I thought a little trtip to Brewster to check it out would be a nice summer trip, but I have talked to several people from the Chelan area, an no one knows what I am talking about. Also, I can't find any reference to it anywhere else.
: : Anybody know anything about it or if it still around?
: : Thanks in advance.

Just the type of reply you would expect from a NSA agent! :)
If your looking for a summer drive to look at antennas, try
the Loran C site in George, Washington or the VLF site in Jim Creek,
Washington. If your up for a real challenge, try and find the
ex-GWEN site (now a GPS correction transmitter site) that is
supposed to be in Appleton, Washington. I have never been able to
find this baby.
