LFPPD figured out that they could not afford to dispatch themselves. They put out bids for KCSO and Bothell. Appears that KCSO was way under Bothell. LFP officers were afraid that KCSO would take over completely in the end. Like Carnation PD. A number of officers from Carnation were washed out because they did not meet Dept standards. So they went with a much higher cost of Bothell. Makes sense to me. NOT !
