I live close to the LFP Station (3 Mi),Drive by daily & notice several different types of law enforcement vech.(Sno-pac,Sea,KCP) Parked long times Overnight and during days...8+ hrs in there parking lot. Have not seen Bothell.
Been monitoring LFP for years.Since 16/17 yrs old (40+ now)
Hey how is your reception @ 800 mhz ? I get a lot of hiss...
I've tried Larsen 7 element directional Yagi's at several directions but no difference...I pointed my yagi at same horizon (Direction as there's)not at them.
Did you know they use to be dispatched from NCAP Security on Ballinger way, after hours late & weekends.
I will try to pay a little closer attention. I also listen to the repeater input freq (45Mhz lower) and get good base station reception (And some mobiles)on my pro 2004 set on high speed scan, No delay.
Also use Rad Shak pro 2066 and Uniden 235xlt

Also noticed Local fire dept mobile on LFP Disp. Requesting traffic control at a incident
Hey speaking of not being able not to afford dispatchers. They sure have a lot of newer LFPD cruisers parked a lot/long time at station mostly unused What a waste of money.

: LFPPD figured out that they could not afford to dispatch themselves. They put out bids for KCSO and Bothell. Appears that KCSO was way under Bothell. LFP officers were afraid that KCSO would take over completely in the end. Like Carnation PD. A number of officers from Carnation were washed out because they did not meet Dept standards. So they went with a much higher cost of Bothell. Makes sense to me. NOT !
