After while out of listening to my PRO-43, I finally purchased a trunking scanner. I programmed it to both the Seattle and King County frequencies but it won't track either. I can go to frequencies manually and hear traffic but the scanner won't follow.
I suspect the antenna and I tried a RS whip (20-006) and played around with the lengths but it makes no difference. I was thinking that I didn't have the control frequency programmed correctly or the radio wasn't picking it up for some reason but I don't know how to check for this. Am I doing something wrong?
