freqs again then your scanner has lost conatact with the control freq and is looking for it again. Get that antenna up and straight!

I would like to listen to SPD and KCSO (mainly north), so I have programmed all the freqs that they both use, then I programmed in the group ID's. My problem is that I want to scan the groups, but it scans the frequencies then occassionally scans the ID's. I don't want to miss out on what's going on in the groups while it is scanning other frequencies. Is there a way to do this? I am rather new at this and any help would greatly be appreciated!!
