Portable scanners -- recommendations

I am taking my son to the Indianapolis 500 this year. First time for both of us. I am told that having a scanner with one or two headphones makes the experience far more enjoyable. I'm looking at a Uniden Sportcat 150 (100 channel unit). Can anyone tell me if that is a good unit or should I look for something else?
