Hi
I have the bc245xlt, and in my opinion your better off going with a pro-94a, the a is important. it has 1000 channels, and you aren't forced to us rechargeable battery packs like the uniden, and there is no 5 second delay between trunking systems and conventional systems. Early models of the 94 dont track both systems at same time but the 94a model does. and uniden doesn't believe in completeing a product before it comes out. at least radio shack is upgrading the pro-92's. but uniden wont do the same for the 245xlt.
: Hello,
: I am going to purchase the 245 xlt soon but was

: in Canada. Not terribly interested in monitoring
: cell conversations (legal or not) but figured a

: functionality. IF so, does anyone have recommendations
: for a place to buy one in the Vancouver area? Thanks!
