Radio Shack and Uniden are the same. Crack open a Radio Shack scanner and look at the board. Inprinted on that board is Uniden. Uniden makes the scanners for Radio Shack. I know because all of my scanners except for one is Radio Shack and I have had to make repairs on them. And when I purchase the parts I have to call Uniden to get the parts.
