I'll be surprised if you're not having problems up there in King Co.
In the last few months there have been posts on various web sites about similar problems with 800 MHz trunking systems in NJ, Fla., CA, ME, MD, PA, etc. etc.
A small article in the June issue of Monitoring Times seems to address the basic problem.
