1st I will tell you that that listening to this has not only made me cry and throw up, but has impacted me in ways heretofore unimaginable. This is not for the weak hearted. This is not for mass consumption, However i do have more than an hours worth of the audio from the event (ie. I have cleaned it up from the initial .RaM audio..converted it into clear MP3 and set levels to where the voices are clearer). But enough time has elapsed..and a growing wain for the US effort has evolved enough...for me to at least indirectly, let those (in the monitor community) who have not had access to the 9-11-01 NYCPD audio...and not searched it out..or didnt know how to..request it. Im not going to post it. E-mail me if you havent already found it, and i will send you the link to either my Yahoo folder for the cleaned audio..or the directs. Secondly...my final thought..These comms have absolutely no value to the scanner community, NONE...They show confusion, horror, Heroism, bravery..pain...and steadfastness in the face of what to the over 1200 officers and fire personnel was literaly the sky falling. There is nothing technical to be gained. all my best.
