There's a White River that dumps into Lake Wenatchee from the NW... search for Mt David... and you'll find it.

The frequency matches the SE DNR region but not the tone.

I found this interesting so I parked on that channel with ProScan and logged and recorded.
Most of the audio appears to be WDFW.
DCS 143 Called Wildcom State M1??? Couldn't make out the M1 part.
DCS 315 Wildcom State Kitsap.
DCS 532 Wildcom State Issaquah.
DCS 743 Wildcom State Rainier.

I'm in south King County. Most transmissions are clear, doesn't seem like simplex comms as you hear the repeater drop. Different receivers?

I will keep logging and update if I figure anything else out.

Sounds like he says "Wildlife 45 WildCOM on State SAM-1" at the end.

To answer your original question -- yes, it's STATE-RAINIER channel per the WDFW officers I heard today.

So far, I've only registered (4) WDFW channels today:

159.285 ST-THURSTON DCS 244
159.42 ST-??? DCS 315
159.42 ST-??? DCS 516
159.42 ST-RAINIER DC 743

I logged 159.420 DCS 073 this morning. Very weak full of static. I could tell it was similar dialog but couldn't make it out.

Now I can hear San Juan.
Thanks Jim for filling in the gaps.
These must be individual repeaters, at first I thought they were remote receivers but the output is weak the farther out they go.

Intercept's DB has a good list of the various DCS code for the WildComm channels. I meant to update my post but forgot to do that.

Remember WDFW is just using DNR repeaters. From what I've read the last few days (in researching DNR/WildComm) they do not have their own repeaters. Their dispatcher(s) is using RoIP from Olympia to access any site.

One interesting find was that WDFW may possibly being using the WSP700 system in certain locations. Their newest radios are dual-band VHF/7-800 models. I wonder if DNR may end up migrating to the WSDOT system eventually...

Good points. I checked the database and 159.420 D 743 Rainier was the only one not listed as mentioned in the first post.
I have heard Wildlife on Seattle south WSP700 Tacoma site. I need to pay more attention. I also hear Parks on Seattle south for Dash Point and Salt Water state parks.

I believe Wildlife police train at the State Patrol academy along side the troopers. So it would make sense to use the radio resources when available. I never listened to DNR, I am going to build a list and start monitoring more often. My unused BC780 would be a good radio for that.

Found a new one -- at least not listed in Intercept's DB...

DCS 723 == ST PRIEST

Anyone know where that is..? Could that be the Priest Rapids Rec area near Mattawa?
