what does this freq belong to? today I hear what sounds like roadcrews talking about roads and snow. I have it tagged as State Ferry's but it sounds more like a Roadcrew freq.

well mike i have it listed for DOT under Road crew, but my problem with it is that i have it programed in a PRO-2055 but i still hear nothing, an yes i am new to this trunking idea, what mode and or code are you using??? any help i get on it, i would be very gratful for.

So is this indeed a WSDOT freq in conventional mode? what are some others?

I think it's a trunked frequency, but the way the DOT's LTR system works, the traffic doesn't move around like an EDACS or Motorola system - each talkgroup has a "home" frequency. So you could probably copy most of the traffic just by parking your receiver on one channel if it's not too busy.
