I have would like to program my Uniden BC246t for WSP.
I have software.
I have been looking for 3 hrs today, and have not found the feqs and talk groups for District 7 Snohomish county of WSP.
I did find District 2 and a file that wants money to download.
Can someone help me?

TIA
Dave

Dave, WSP has since moved to P25 which is a digital mode. Your scanner won't pickup that mode. You'll need a P25-capable scanner/radio to pick them up. Uniden has the BCD325P2 (handheld) or BCD996P2 (base/mobile) which are good scanners. Prices are $328/$366 respectively (thru Amazon.) If you were to buy one of those then you'd be set and probably wouldn't need another scanner for a long time. :)

Freescan software (use to program) is free to download.

WSP D1 and D8 are still analog but not for much longer.

Frequencies are here: http://www.interceptradio.com/wiki/index.php/WA_State

Thanks for the quick reply.
I found that page and read it. I understand that WSP trunking is 700's I do not see any trunk tracking feqs on that page.
I also dont see any talk groups in the ranges that are listed is some post.
all I see are the 150's in the VHF range.

Looks like I need a new scanner anyway.
Thanks for the help.

WSP has a 700 Mhz trunking system but it's just rebroadcasted VHF frequencies. IMHO, you're better off using VHF but whatever works for you -- there's no difference.

Yes you'll need a new [Phase 2] scanner regardless which method you go...

Do you know where to find the 700 MHz and talk groups?
