Picking this up from Mill Creek. Not in the DB

159.360 D072

Could possibly be this one with the switch to DCS now.

WS DNR - Northwest SKYKOMISH 159.360 (141.3)

Possibly the DNR crew that was working the brush fire in the Eastmont neighborhood?

Sobieski does provide some coverage in that area

It's possible they set up a temporary repeater. We'll have to keep listening to see if there are any hits on 141.3, or wait for someone to identify their channel.

I'm thinking that's which repeater is in use. I keep trying to catch a channel name but it's pretty low volume.

Confirmed this as "Carbon" repeater. South Puget was dispatch, couldn't hear what unit # but he referred to it as "Carbon" when contacting dispatch. Taco, or somebody else with DB privileges, can we add this to the DB as this appears to be a new repeater.

Carbon would be part of South Puget (in PierceCo). Their repeaters are often simulcast, so I wouldn't be positive that's the channel until you hear someone on the input. Carbon has been 159.3825/151.3700, at least 159.36 is one of the freqs on the license.

FlashP has a good point. I'll defer to him on whether this is truly "Carbon" or like he said a simulcast of another channel or repeater.
