I got a close call hit today of electric guys on 217.5400 (110.9).

ETA-This was not .5425 and the signal was quite strong. No license for this freq anywhere in the FCC DB other than a canceled Exxon license.

This is why I posted. I am really confused and tend to think that my reality check is bouncing. When I try to monitor site 5239 with my PRO-95 it reads 217.8275. When I use my PSR-500 it seems to center at 217.805. Thanks for the feed back.

But do both of those scanners use an AUTO step feature? The 996XT won't even pick up the voice channels unless I specify 6.25 steps. If I use 12.5khz steps the audio is clearly off frequency.

The PRO-95 has no step options. I have set the PRO-500 to flex. I really need to nail down the actual transmitted frequency and the band plan will adjust as needed. What I posted seems to work for Unitrunker and Trunkview for 39 sites in the Puget Sound area and a few across the pass. The trunking step does seem to be 12.5. Some sites have both low and high channels which really causes a problem with Trunkview. Most sites have either 2 or 3 voice channels. Only 1 site so far has Chan 211.

I can't find the step settings on the 396X so I'll assume it's set to "auto" for each band. Close Call, that is. Search step settings are easy to find.

Sorry Taco, I was referring to the custom search function. I don't think you can specify any settings for close call other than the bands and the conditional storage, etc.

Doesn't mean they shouldn't exist either. One of the last times I used it the scanner stopped on 154.575 but it probably meant to stop on 154.57.

Quite active today. I think all the area repeaters are on today. Have at least 6 voice channels active.

Activity has increased again. I have confirmed that the gas folks are now using the repeaters. I have about a dozen or so channels programmed and quite a few are active on a daily basis.

<ignore previous list>

PSE is using 6.25khz steps and the SDR proves it. That's what I get for listening to the RR folks.

I finally did some playing around. Managed to pull up a spectrum on a local site, regardless of the "step" value, it's centered on a 6.25 kHz splinter: 217.86875 kHz / ch070 / 110.9 Hz. Other sites I could hear seem to also be on splinters. Of course the bandwidth on the scanner is so wide it doesn't matter what you type in :)

The two bandplan segments could be used to shift the freqs on or off the splinters, I don't have data to say either way.

What I can see from the raw data seems to confirm Nick's bandplans, save subtracting 6.25 kHz from each base. That gives channels 41-80 and 141-180. I suspect but can't prove that the lower channels have 110.9 and the higher ones 146.2 tone.

TrunkView has at least two issues with the custom channel list:
a) It truncates the list any time you edit the profile.
b) It shows some channels that are in the profile as 0.0 MHz, like it got lost in the look-up process.
Very annoying.

Blundered into a few of their sites, I think many of them are low-level and only a few on the usual peaks. I'd appreciate if anyone can confirm where 5119 and 5081 are; I suspect Gold for the first based on coverage.

I show 5119 as Bremerton and 5081 as my 3rd Renton site. These are based only on where I was when I found them. I do not think they do business in Bremerton, but it may be more on Vashon.

My data so far...

They cover Kitsap county, mostly TG 6010.

My guess would be Gold Mountain; they had a site there for the 900 EDACS system. I remember hearing gas dispatches for West Pierce County
