The Uniden homopatrol series is pretty popular. Uniden BCD536HP and Uniden BCD436HP are the recent editions.
With that said they are expensive but have a lot of "bells & whistles". And are digital capable.

If you don't want to spend that much a cheaper BC246T, BC356XT or BCT15X will work for you as the SERS system stands today.

Thank you sir,

I have another buddy that seems to be pretty stuck on buying the BCD436HP. I want a base, and a handheld avail to me, so it is going to get $$$$.. And that is money I could upgrade my Ham Shack's HF rig with :)

Now I will have to decide how much of my money from other toys to divert to this :)

Yeah I have a friend that picked up a BCD436HP and likes with. But again this is a $500 dollar (give or take) scanner. The base model is $550 (give or take).

You can spend a lot less $$ to listen to SERS as it stands today.

Thanks for giving the new Feqs.
I think some are missing. I have a uniden BC246T
Been scanning SERS for years.
After deleting the old feqs and entering the ones listed on this post, I miss many parts of conversations and fire dispatches.
I only scan, North County Fire and MSVL Police.
Does anyone have the complete list of SERS Feqs?

Dave

Channels 4, 5 and 8 on the EAST simulcast have not yet been rebanded due to regional coordination delays. Leave those three old channels in your bank if you're listening to East.

Vizwar, can you list those, because I now only have the new ones?

I think the easiest way to answer the above questions is to just program all of the old and new frequencies in to the system. Then you have everything covered regardless of the channel number.

From the WWRIC meeting-

SERS rebanding: Jay Morrison reported that Snohomish County has completed their
rebanding except for three channels that they are waiting for King County to vacate. They
haven’t yet determined the extent of interference on the new channels, if any.

I googled WWRIC and got this http://wwric.org/. According to their website, it stands for "WESTERN WASHINGTON REGIONAL INTERFERENCE COMMITTEE"

They meet monthly usually in Bellevue at the WSP detachment.

I go whenever I can pull away and make it over.

When purchasing a new scanner to follow the re banded trunk, what is the catch phrase to look for? Verbally, I can't find a distinguishing phrase that seperates scanners that can and can not follow the new trunk system.

Go to the "other" website and look on their wiki page for "Rebanding Supported Scanners". I would post the link but rules are preventing me.

I know this is an old thread, Like i said in earlier post,
I have a Uniden 246 been scanning fine for months since adding the addition feqs.
Lately been missing stuff again.
Has anything changed.
I have about 24 reqs entered for each zone. Is this long list slowing scanner down? Is there a list of working feqs, so I can just enter the one I need and tidy up.
