If the story behind this machine is true, I couldn't imagine anyone other than Yaesu, or one of their competitors forking over $50K for this amp. Even if I had $50K in chump change laying around, never would I consider buying this amp..... and I'm a huge Yaesu fan. For that kind of money, one could build a state of the art station, including tower and antennas. Hell, and if you're Wilrobnson, you would probably have enough money left over for hookers and blow :) Regardless of your net worth, it just seems like a lame investment. For all we know, this black sheep may not even be serviceable.
