A type of side band.

Early 220 systems built locally by SEA used this.

I've logged my first idents. 10-3295, 10-8136 logged by both unitrunker and Trunkview. Using filter "set2" in trunkview it's still only showing "Vote Now Advice" every 20 seconds. I've been letting it run on 217.8425 since it has the most adjacent sites. What's interesting to me is that it doesn't show anything for Thurston County on the FCC license. I wonder what sites I'm actually hearing. As I stated before bear with me. This is a new program and trunking protocol for me.

Like Nick said, it appears to all be NFM.

EDIT: I've also logged two other idents that have a prefix of sys and they are 8136 and 8188. I have absolutely no idea what these are. :stupid:

Did you pay for the "registered" version of Trunkview?

I didn't know that a registered version existed?

If Intercept users with Trunkview could help plug in the data that would be super. I'm trying to map the Channel Numbers to Sites, etc.

Just wanted to post a quick update. Today for the first time in a while I fired up Trunkview. Almost immediately I got an alert for a voice call. I had my 15X parked on 217.7425 feeding TrunkView, and my 106 searching 215-220. The two voice frequencies I've found are:
217.5075 CH141
217.5575 CH45
Both had actual usage from PSE, but neither were from Thurston County. I'll try to do more searching to find out what area is already using the system.

FYI, I haven't heard PSE on VHF in a long time. I think they have either moved full-time or started the transition to the new system.

So SE Bellevue lost power for about 6 hours this past Saturday due to the wind/rain storm. I scanned VHF and there was zilch from the former PSE frequencies. I scanned the newer 21x frequencies but just heard the control channels.

So, I'm confused. Is voice traffic going to be completely digital on this system -- or will we hear analog voice as well? Can the units switch between analog/digital?

Can I dump the old PSE channels from my radios and reclaim the memory space? ;)

I'm still logging occasional traffic on 153.725/103.5. The 21x channels are analog voice.

I was also thinking that they may have moved to digital in the work sense too. They might all have iPads and don't need much in the way of voice communication any more. :(

I think Olympia flipped over, I didn't hear any 150 mhz traffic during the storm
