hi all its been a while since i Posted but I got a question what type of system is grant county going to be switching to edacs Motorola or P25, :beer:

Won't be able to say. You'll have to wait until the system is up and running. Anytime before is purely speculation. If they use Phase II, then no you won't. If they use encryption, then no you won't.

It's up and operational. Check DB for frequencies. P25 Phase I is the type. 100% Tait equipment.

Most of programming for Law is completed and then on to fire. Infrastructure and subscriber units are installed.

Shooting for cutover mid-January.

Keep in mind that Fire 1, Fire 2, Law Data and Law Dispatch will be patched to their current VHF frequencies. I've logged 71 TGID's. 95% of Law TGIDs are encrypted. (I would hope for a system of this magnitude that they'd spring for encryption.)

He says it's using Tait equipment. :D
