The OLD Intercept board contained a link for a listing of WSP units, whereby one could hear a unit on the radio and immediately look to see what type it was; i.e. 779 listed as a marked Crown Victoria, working as a K-9 unit. The list was user-maintained, so not all units were on it. Is there any interest in reviving something like this? I ask mainly since I've been idly maintaining a list, and was wondering what to do with it today.

Your thoughts?

I would like it tweeted to me with updates...

naw I voted no, I dont care what the car looks like and if there is a K9 its likely barking in the background.

As for if its unmarked I normally figure that one out when it pulls me over (ha)

One would of course have to have time to keep track of when people get new cars etc... seems like a lot of work to me.

Not really...I just update my "list" as I see a unit on the road. Quick note or a voice memo on my phone, logged in later. "User maintained".

I'm not quite sure how you got to that conclusion.

Hmmm...I'd be out $50, max. We'll talk more about this later.

I'm thinking this will make it's way into the wiki if enough folks consider it a valid enough idea.

17 to 5 in favor, with 5 cheeseheads.

I'll put it in the wiki.
