double NAT should be no issues at all you just need to make sure your firewalls the whole way are inbound port forwarding to your echolink system
so make sure your (example) comcast modem firewall is OFF (best case) then just port foward from the linksys this might mean you run PPPoE on the linksys and turn it off on the ISP router.
If you cant shut off the ISP firewall dump the linksys or go transparent with it. As mentioned DDWRT makes it more like a real firewall and less like linksys-crap. but caution as mentioned you will brick a newer linksys as they dont let you have as much fun on new.
Or use PFSence or Mono Wall and a old PC it will do everything.
