 Post subject: New Seatac Tower Freq.

With the operation of Seatac's new runway beginning today, I noticed a new tower frequency that aircraft are switching to.

It seems that once aircraft are switched from the approach control, then to the normal tower frequency (119.900), they are then switched to 120.950 if then are directed to the new 16R/34L runway.

Yeah, looks like SeaTac is splitting traffic east vs. west. Boeing field has done this for a very long time (120.6 west 118.3 east). I'm surprised it took Seatac this long to do so.

You can see all the freqs on any approach plate, such as this:

Note they split ground control too (now I don't think that's as common?)
East 121.7 (I believe that's the old freq) West 118.35
