Med Units
Central Skagit County Medic-One

Med 1 ALS Based in Sedro Woolley. Basically covers North of the Skagit River, West to the Burlington and East to Lyman.

Med 2 ALS Based in Mt Vernon. Covers South of the Skagit River, West to the
Skagit River and East till they run out of roads.

Med 3 ALS Based at McLean Road Fire. Covers Skagit River west to Swinomish Channel, South to Fir Island, and north to Bayview.

Med 4 ALS Based in Burlington Fire Station 1. Covers north from Skagit River to Whatcom County, West to Bayview, and East to Sedro-Woolley.

Aid 5 BLS Based in Burlington FD Station 1. Covers all MVAs north of Skagit River and transfers from UGH and Island. 24 hour BLS coverage.

Aid 6 BLS Based in Mt Vernon. Covers all MVAs south of Skagit River and transfers from SVH. 8 hour M-F day coverage, and on-call at night.

Aero-Skagit Ambulance
Med 7 ALS Based in Concrete. Covers all up river calls east of Lyman often by themselves as all District 10 depts. are not first responders
and do not go on aid calls or accidents unless specifically requested.

Med 10 (or Aid 10 when staffed as BLS) Based in Concrete. Mostly used for transports to town.

Other up river ambulances

Med 11 BLS Based at Diablo Power Station and staffed by Puget Power employees and owned by the power company. Do primarily calls related to
the power station but also go to calls on Hwy 20 when someone stops there and asks for help. Whatcom County and Self dispatched.

Anacortes Fire Medic Units

Cover everything West of the Swinomish Channel including all of Fidalgo
Island and the area on the Swinomish Reservation West of the channel.

Med 18 Anacortes backup ALS/BLS
Aid 15 BLS Island Hospital Transfer crew

County Fire dispatch uses KON766 for dispatching Anacortes fire & medic units

Anacortes medics usually transport to Island Hospital in Anacortes.
Other medics go to Skagit Valley (Mt. Vernon) or sometimes United General (Sedro Woolley).

On rare occasion I've heard Skagit Valley ER on 155.340, however most
medic to hosptial enroute traffic is done via cell phone.
