: You will need to tap pin 9 on the IF AMP/Detector chip. It is going to have TK10420 on the top of the chip. It is going to be located on the middle of the RF/Linear board(the one that runs horizontal in the scanner). Don't solder directly to the pin because you get the same connection at Test Point 2(TP2) which is a peg right near it. Wire that connection to the center hub of a 1/8" jack or something simular and have the other connection grounded.

I really like my Pro-2035 and have the discriminator tapped, a OS535 with Probe, and now have installed another interface. The new interface will run you about $12 in parts and some soldering. It is easy to install into the Pro-2035. We are beta testing the software to program the scanner with. E-mail me if you are interested.
