That nonsense about units ending with S/N > 4500xxxx sounds like more FCC/Gonvernment bullshit.
I personally bought one from the Rat Sack outlet store in Ft. Worth, TX., almost 2 years ago, and it's S/N is 4590xxxx. Since then, I'd bought 2 more from the same place for some friends. And by the way the 2,9,K/L sequence worked fine on all units... You sure you got the sequence right?
