: hi.buy a uniden b.c 245xlt handheld trunktacker and the bc.780xlt base mobile trunktacker stay a way from radioshack scanners you will be disapointed in the performance,if you get a good scanner make sure you get a good outside antenna for both radios for better coverage.
I agree the best scanner out there is the Uniden 245 due to its scanning capabilities of different bands and systems awesome radio.
