Well that depends on what model of scanner it is? the kiing County police as well as the federal way pd are both on the king Co. trunking system. So it is easiest to listen if you have a trunk tracking scanner. there is lots of info on this site, as well as my own site

I have an old Uniden Bearcat scanner that my dad and I used to use to listen to the Enumclaw Police Department.... that's the only fun I had growing up ;) Anyhow, I live in Federal Way now and was wondering if I can pick up the Federal Way Police and/or the King County Sheriffs dept. in the area.
