: I'll be getting a BC780XLT in a few days, and I was wondering if anyone in the Seattle area had a frequencies datafile they'd like to share. Files for any interface program would be useful, as long as the software is free or has a demo period so I can try it out. I just want to get up and running! I'm new to trunking and I'm still picking up the lingo.

: I'd also like to say that I'm really glad to have found this http://interceptradio.com; I used to live in LA and I *never* found a site where scanner enthusiasts converged to the local area!

Matt,

I run a BC780XLT with Signal Intelligence's Trunk Star software, www.trunkstar.com. I would HIGHLY recommend that you pick up the eval and try it out. I'm more than happy to send you the TS config files for King County, and another user on this board, Interceptor, has a few as well.
