Like Dave A said, no. But here's what I did as I'm frequently over in EWash over the weekend.
In the last two banks, I put in all my favorite EWash freqs but made the the first freq in Bank 9 and 10, one of the KC trunking data channels. Then put the scanner in Trunking Control Channel only mode. This left 49 other freqs for each of those two banks for EWash freqs. When close to Snoq Pass, I just tap the TRUNK button to turn off trunking. You also need to be aware that you can copy a trunking system AND conventional freqs all in the same bank. Control Channel only mode means you just put the control channel in one of the 50 channels in a bank instead of putting all 20-28 freqs in that same bank so that leaves more room for conventional channels.
: i plan to purchase a bc780xlt and put it in the dash of my car, my question is, when i drive in non-trunked areas like eastern and northwestern washington will i need another scanner for these areas? thanks....
