I am unsure if this is correct. Usually the "air" designator is used by W.S.P. air operations . ie; when they are working with the Troopers on the ground enforcing the speed limits on the interstate . i have heard them call in as "air 7" to the Everett dispatch center , (which by the way is wsp district 7) Gaurdian one is King county Sheriffs dept helocopter . They will do mutual aid if called upon and their is not a priority call in their county . They buzz through Snohomish county on a regular basis . Don't confuse the Wsp air plane ( fixed wing cessna) with gaurdian one , a helicopter out of KCSO.
