If you've got the full set of Seattle Smartzone freqs. programmed in you should have no trouble getting the Vice and Narcotics units anytime. Just be sure to program in ALL of the "special" talkgroups listed for the SPD. They switch around a lot. I suspect that the OIC that arranges the operation has a choice of what talkgroup to put his team on so they use a lot of them. I've heard teams making drug busts at all hours of the day and night. Sometimes there are several operations going on simultaneously in different parts of the city. The Vice units are usually most active at night...sorta the nature of the "business" but the dopers are out to buy and sell their wares all day long.
