Got a couple of Motorola tube type cavity amplifiers good for 100 watts also.....
But the really neat way to boost the range of these little pipsqueak radios without hacking into them (thus violating
the terms of the type acceptance, etc.etc.... is to make the radio close to some sort of resonant 1/4 wave whip or something along those lines, then hook this up to the highest quality low loss coax you can afford, then run the other end of the coax to a monster gain antenna way up in a tree or tower or something.....
