I sppoze if ya really wanted to get a tickey from the friendly candy company a guy could rip into the rig and bring out the RF that normally guzzinta the antenna and switch it thru a UHF amplifier, then to a UHF antenna, this could work... got one that takes my MFJ Antenna analyzer output and will make 50 watts out of it... was the final amp for some commmercial Motorola thing...........
: {BREAK} I dont believe you can use a CB linear for any frequencies around the vhf business band. I think the linear has to at least be tuned to the band your broadcasting in...and lets see...450 minus 27...hmmm..nope. I could be wrong though. I dont think your modulation has anything to do with it, but im not sure. Maybe someone MIGHT tell you. also if you ever did succeed in doing this, in my opinion, it could very possibly fry these little radios. or at least the cheaper brands with no anttenuation protection from this sort of mischeif<---(insert annoying roger beep here)
