From my understanding, If the manning is a total of 3 on the ALS/BLS unit, this includes one Medic you are called Rescue as in Rescue 21. If the call is a BLS call you get Rescue 21, if the call is a ALS M/A in Millcreek you get Rescue 21 and SCFD #7 Aid 72. If the manning is two on the unit you are called Medic 21, or Aid 21, depending on the staffing. SCFD # 1 calling Medic Units Rescues may not last. District 1 did this w/o the Board of Snohomish County Fire Chiefs approval. Sno-Pac and Sno-Com have dispatch language that states what we call our equipment. Im not 100% for sure on this subject so if anyone has anythis to add, that would be great.
