: I was wondering if anyone knows what 150.625 is used for in the Western Washington area. I've heard quite a variety of traffic on it, including aviation, security-types, encryption (DES), and last nite SAR-type tfc, with a base station id'ing as "NorthShore 1". Any ideas? Thanks much!

... I know I'm a day late and a dollar short on this one,
but that was a repeater (149.525 input) that was somewhere
in the Puget Sound area. I first heard it in late March.
They weren't running PL so pager transmitter intermod
kicked it up often. Best I could tell it might have had
something to do with the Everett naval base. I think it
is off the air now as I haven't heard it in quite a
while.
