Just cuz you can't plug 208 into your scanner doesn't mean you have the only model of scanner in the world that everyone uses.
same w/ GHz. Everything is moving up and up.. including scanner coverage.
Just chill out, and read stuff that pertains to you. If it's not for you, so be it. Perhaps there's a whole different world that you might be interested in investing $ in, simply by reading posts about freq ranges that you don't get right now.
