Wiz, cut and pasted in quotes for your convenience are a couple of sentences from an earlier message. (Subject: Most?) Perhaps you can further clarify
"...if there is no radio affiliated to the site you are monitoring, with the TG wanted selected, the audio for that TG will not appear on that site." In this case do you literally mean site? For example, on the KC/VC (or EPSCA) SIMULCAST sites, when a radio is affiliated with any one of the simulcast sites, do all simulcast sites light up, or just the the site to which the radio is affiliated? I appreciate, and please confirm, that a FILL-IN site that does not have a radio affiliated to it will not key a channel.
"This is terrible waste of resources and so is not a decision to be taken lightly." On the simulcast sites once a site has a radio affilited to it, may as well light up all the sites (using the same simulcast channel) since the channel really can't be used by another TG without the risk of interference. Is this logic correct?
"I can tell you without hesitation that no non-Seattle TGs have the Seattle simulcast site requested and none of the Seattle TGs have non-Seattle sites requested." Is this really true? For example, it seems that TG 1744 and TG 22384 always light up both (and all, as best I can tell) the Seattle and the EPSCA Simulcast sites.
Thanks for your help.
