there are 2 versions of the 94, one can bounce between conventional and trunking every 4 seconds of in activity, the other cant. I forget how to tell them apart, something written on the back, and/or boot up screen.
I've got a 94, i think its great, but perhaps flimsy.. i never dropped it yet, but i'm sure the 1st time i do i'm in for alot of super glue. check out strongsignals.net for their review. It'll do all that trunken and Sbit options. It's a nice radio, little intermod in seattle, with different antennas it's got a very powerful receptoion, even down in HF world. I like the keyboard layout, i was able to learn it, and get fast at it in a 1/2 hour.
good luck, it's worth the $200.
