: The Bearcat Radio Club's Fleetcall for Washington State references a statewide E.F. Johnson system. I would like to set it up in my BC780. However, Fleetcall lists 51 frequencies for the system and the BC780 only has 50 memories/bank. Any ideas how I would get around this apparent limitation? For instance, is it really necessary to enter every frequency to track the system? I don't know if this is a Multinet system. Thanks in advance for any replies.

The WSDOT uses an EF Johnson Multi-Net 2 system...The 780 won't track this one...There are several UHF (46x.xxxx) LTR systems around though, and more coming online. As for the DOR system, it's not that hard to follow conventionally anyhow. Just make sure you have all the freqs. Remember they like to use simplex alot also. I know a State Liquor Control agent who said they use the DOT system sometimes for ops, so listen closely!
