: LERN is sporadic and is usually used when a "event" like a pursuit involving the State and local agencies are included. I live in Thurston Co. too, and yes not much happens but when a freeway or county incident occurs between diiferent agencies you want to have this one programed in . How well do you pick up LERN and from how far away? What type of antenna / scanner setup do you have?
