If that is the one w/ 50 channels and it starts at 108 mhz (no 29-50) I had one ,tried the mod and it did not work I ended up trading it for a Pro 2022 because the guy wanted a handheld . It was the best decision I've made to this day . My advice to you would be to sell it.
