i needed help at first to go nearest radio shack near u and buy a guide for 15.00 i got one i bet it will have your area in it and frequincies too it has police fire roaddepartments airforce miletery and all that good stuff i got mine about 3 months ago it was my grandfathers and if it is like this is an example 123.4567 u cant do it so take the last number offf and it will work thats what i herd and it works
