: : In South King County, Fire District 46 was merged into Fire District 44. Fire District 46 previously used unit designators 46,47,48 and 49. City of Sea-Tac Fire now uses 45, 46 and 47. I have been told by personnel at North Highline that the renumbering has been done to prepare for the "merger" of South Com into Valley Com and if the old fire district 46 were to still use 46,47,48 and 49 it would mean a duplication of numbers between two departments. Can anyone advise what the new unit numbers are for the old district 46 units. I suspect probably 94, 95, 96 and 97 as 98 and 99 are used by Black Diamond FD. If these are the new numbers can anyone cross reference the old numbers (46,47,48 and 49) with the new numbers. Fire District 44 as I recall were using numbers 91, 92 and 93.
: : Any assistance would be appreciated.

: According to some people at Valley Comm, 46's old numbers probably will be replaced by 146, 147, 148 etc...
Boy you can never trust a firefigher or a distpatch, they never know whats really going on
They don't like having to dispatch three numbered units, unless they are reserved units. Since val-com will be taking over the entire south county area...
Fire Dist 46's numbers have changed...
to 94, 96 and 97
96 being station 46, 97 being station 47..
There is talk of closing a station, since station 92 covers much if its area....
