: : : anyone remeber hot TalkGroup IDs? freqs?
: : From what I remember they used either the regular Seattle CMD or Tac channels. I can't remember which one, but I remember that there was a problem with the hexes and until almost the end, the ID freqs came off a few digits short
: Ya I remeber that, something about adding patches and shifting everyone off by 3???
: ... were any Federal (DEA, FBI, CIA, IRS??) Freqs used? I remeber FRS radios were screaming with teargassed fun.
Last year they used commands 1 - 5
Cmd 1 was escorts last year, but they won't have them
Cmd 5 was pretty good to watch
Also, State Ops 1-5 are good to watch (800 mhz simplex freqs)
And 800 mhz mutual aid (there's 5 of them)

As for the TG ID's being off, I have had good results from using type I TGID's (051-3), instead of type II (3312) There is a good write up on this on the Intercept site http://www.interceptradio.com
