: : Hay you all , I did get a new trunk scanner. It is a RS Pro 2050 not a bad little box.
: : However..... what are the Freq's ( trunked that is ) for Des Monies, Federal Way and also for Auburn.
: : I live in Des Monies so that would be a great help.
: : I am hearing lot's of things on 3248 right now ( seattle ) but I see you cant program talk groups :) Why not????
: Radioshack.com sais this about the pro 2050:
: Scan Lists
: When you program Trunked frequencies into a bank (see "Programming Trunked
: Frequencies" above), your scanner sets up 5 scan lists into which you can
: store your favorite IDs. Each list can contain up to 10 IDs, so you can
: store a total of 50 IDs for each trunk tracking bank (500 IDs if you use
: all banks as trunking banks!).
:
: If you have already lost your manual here's one online: http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F001%5F002%5F007%5F000&product%5Fid=20%2D430
: congratulations, but stop drolling over the radio and read the manual.. you can program upto 500 IDs to scan.
I have the book :)
Ill be looking into that. I have 3 banks done up now for South KC but more to come .
This thing is WAY cool if I can say so myself.
Anyway, I do get Seattle easy on a scanner, so I assume that columbia tower will be the place to get more freq's??
