Two major inhabitants of the 140-144mhz slot are Spy Bugs and Millitary Comms. I heard an UNKNOWN call "YANKEE" on 140.0045 Mode UNKNOWN. Definately Srambled or Unknown Mode (So it maybe "Spankee" for all I know)...This was two days ago and i am still hearing Both "Yankee" And "Unknown" share short transmissions all through the night. Is this Mchord? I'm on the eastside of seattle and was using a UHF/VHF table antenna.
