: I am new to the scanner world, and just purchased a pretty decent scanner from radioshack(of which I am ashamed beyond measure)...but it came with a serial port, and I have read that a good scanner interface is available for PC's....As I said I am new to this hobby and would appreciate any input as to good software and where to get it
