It is also possible that channels have been added to the "CELLULAR" (wink, wink, nod, nod, no I DID NOT SAY NEXTEL!) site next to the scanner listeners house and their consumer grade receivers are being desensed by the high "CELLULAR" (NOT NEXTEL!) signals...
