: does anyone know if they are trunked or conventional and what the frequencies are or talk group id. and would that be for king county or state wide? thanks

As far as I know they remain conventional. I am not aware of any patches to 800mhz. Try 159.420 (State "E" repeater). Most of the activity that I hear is on this freq. Also, I have heard surveilance on 151.310 (simplex). They are licensed for 151.340 as well as State Common 151.415. An old freq listing that I have from 1979 shows 151.220 ??? and I once heard them on the local DNR repeater channel. See the post below this one because I too have heard them on the local WSP freq.
