First time here, thought id tell you all of an antenna i tried on my scanner one day. It was an old 1960 style tv antenna that simply pluged into the wall ac plug tapping into ONE WIRE. It seemed dangerous but i guess you use the same side as the grounded side. Anyways, the reception of cordless phones was unreal, on each phone chanel i could get several by adjusting the orientation of the scanner. no other antenna has ever worked so well for me, i guess it was like having a wire ran into everyhouse in the neighborhood. just wondering what you all thought.
